Mary Matthews
Mary is an incredibly gifted and accomplished producer, director and editor working in television, theater and film. After years running media trainings at the largest community cable station in the world, Manhattan Neighborhood Network in New York City, Mary worked in television development for some of entertainment’s most prolific production companies including Embassy Row, All3Media, Studio Lambert and Buena Vista Television. She has developed and produced original programming for TLC, Oxygen, Bravo, Game Show Network, CBS and ABC, including Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, American Bible Challenge, The Job, Married to It and the Dondre’ Whitfield Show. Mary’s hilarious video work for Bridget Everett’s show Rock Bottom at the Public Theater, produced with the Tony winning team of Marc Shaiman & Scott Wittman, helped earn the production a 2015 Obie Award Special Citation. Winner of over twenty International Labor Communications Association awards, Mary’s decade of documentary work in the U.S. Labor movement helped pass worker safety legislation, secured pro-worker labor contracts and lifted the voices of working families nationwide.
